       A cavity occurs when plaque combines with the sugars and starches in the food you eat. The combination produces acids that attack tooth enamel, leading to tooth loss when left untreated.

The most common cause for tooth decay is improper oral hygiene maintenance, which includes improper tooth brushing techniques, long term food lodgment on teeth surface{ overnight mostly}, carelessness in visits even if problem is identified by individual for themselves.

    Proper filling of decayed tooth and maintenance would keep the problem away.

Ii] Dental implants- the adjacent teeth are not involved but an surgical component which mimic the natural teeth  esthetically and functionally would be fixed at missing teeth area. Complete loss of teeth in mouth can be done with either all on 4 or all on  procedures , which establishes the complete functionality of teeth.

Cancer of the mouth is a serious and fatal disease that affects millions of people.  Fortunately , the condition is often curable if diagnosed and treated in its early stages. Prevention is always better than cure. Tobacco and alcohol , pan chew are common causes for oral cancer.

   Symptoms  are persistent sores, lumps rough areas in mouth. You may also experience changes in your biting modes and movements of tongue and jaw. Routine visit to dentist would help in early detection of the problem. Treatment varies depending on which cancer center you choose to entrust with your care.
